2025 Summer Camp details coming soon.

Our Vision Lived Out

For over 60 years Valley View Bible Camp has been effectively operating summer camps for children ages 5-17. Camp runs annually during July and August and is a great way for children to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ as well as experience a safe and classic summer camping atmosphere. Valley View is a ministry of One Hope Canada; if you would like more information on what we do across the country, please click on the logo at the bottom of the page.

FAQ's

How do I register my child for camp?

Registration officially opens January 2025 (specific date to be determined)! You can register and pay online by clicking the 'Register Online' button at the top of this page. We also have a PDF of the registration form that is available for download.

What does overnight camp at Valley View look like?

A typical day at Valley View during an overnight camp would include a variety of skill blocks for your child to enjoy. Skills like ziplining, archery, pelletry, kayaking, swimming, crafts, wilderness and sports. There will be two chapel sessions a day, as well as camp-wide group games, tuck (canteen items that are included in their fees), and some free time mixed into their daily schedule. We do our best to offer a camp experience that your child will enjoy, and we are committed to creating a safe and inviting environment for each camper.

How does the camp handle food allergies and other dietary needs?

We will do our best to accommodate medically necessary food needs, but are unable to accommodate food preferences or lifestyle choices. If you don't have an allergy or sensitivity, please be prepared to supplement your own diet if you choose not to eat what has been prepared by the kitchen.

Please clearly describe your child's food allergies/dietary needs on the camp registration form and feel free to contact us to discuss if or how we can accommodate your camper with your help.

Are you a "Peanut Free" Facility?

We cannot guarantee to be a nut/peanut free environment. We do seek to reduce the risk of exposure and therefore do not use or serve peanuts, peanut products or tree nuts on camp property. Nuts or products containing nuts will not be available in our camp tuck shop. However, the food we purchase and serve may contain traces of nut products.

Are there Day Camp options?

All advertised camps are overnight, however, we offer a day camp option for Squirt week only. If interested, please complete the camp registration form to guarantee your spot then contact us immediately to confirm and get more information.

What does a Horse Camp all include? Do they get to participate in other activities too?

Horse Camps at Valley View provide campers with training and instruction focused more intentionally on horses. They will learn horse care, enjoy plenty of riding time, games and trail riding. To round out their camp experience, they will also participate in other camp skills such as ziplining, waterfront, swimming and more. To take Advanced Gallop you must have already taken Gallop Horse, or something equivalent. To determine which horse camp is the best fit for your child, feel free to contact us to discuss your child’s experience level.

How can I know which camps my child qualifies for, based on their age?

Similar to the public school system, your child qualifies to attend any camp that matches their current age or the age they will turn on or before Dec. 31st of the current calendar year.

What is Trail Horse? Can anyone attend?

Trail Horse is a camp for 15-17 year olds wanting to spend their time riding a horse on the open trail. Once packed, you'll embark on a one of a kind, rustic, three night trail ride and camp out! Riding experience is required as this camp is not focused on instruction.

Money is a little tight right now so camp doesn't seem like an option for us. Is there help available?

We don't want anything to come in the way of a child getting to go to camp. There are options available to help cover the costs associated with coming to camp. Please contact us so we can help find a solution that's the best fit for you and your family.

Servanthood Development Program (SDP) 2025

This year SDP will run alongside each week of camp posted in the camp schedule. The cost is $80 for a full week, and $50 for a partial week. SDP is open to anyone ages 14-17. SDP camps are overnight, and run every week during the summer between July 2 - August 21. A brief description of the program is listed below. To register, please fill out the online registration form under the "Summer Camp" tab. Contact us for more information.

SDP will give you opportunities to serve, grow in your work ethic, and learn more about Jesus! Opportunities include, but are not limited to: servings meals, daily cleaning, dishes, assisting in special projects, and camp program activities. In addition to service opportunities, you will still get to enjoy Bible time, camps skills, and good friends because you're still at camp after all!

LDP is open to anyone ages 15-17. A brief description can be found below. The program will run August 5-21, with participants going home during weekends. The cost will be $400, which includes a camp shirt and tuck.
