FAQ’s

Can we book a private facility/building during public tubing?

In an effort to limit over crowding, each 3 hr 45 minute time slot has a reduced number of sliders. This keeps the lines shorter, and provides plenty of table space in the new chalet. Therefore, private rental spaces are no longer needed, and are no longer available to rent. Private group bookings are available during weekdays. Please contact us to book.

Do we have to bring our own tubes?

No, tubes are provided and only the tubes we provide are allowed to be used on the hill. 

Are pets allowed?

No, we love animals but for the safety and comfort of our sliders, your pets, and ours, please make other arrangements for your furry family members.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, we encourage you to pack some snacks or bring a meal along to make the most of your time with us. Food or drinks are allowed to be consumed inside the New Chalet. A fire pit is available outside which you can use to roast hot dogs. Please bring your own roasting sticks. All of your food and belongings need to be cleaned up and out of the Chalet before the end of your timeslot to make room for the next group of sliders. Please keep in mind that alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be consumed anywhere on the property.

Do you have food and drinks for sale?

Yes. We have a canteen that serves a variety of snacks and drinks, including coffee and hot chocolate. Alcohol is not sold nor permitted on the property.

I want to book a time for my group. What options do I have?

There are two main options for group bookings listed below. 

  1. We offer Private Group Bookings Monday thru Friday. To make a booking, please give us a call at +1 204-685-2999 and we would be happy to give you a hand.

  2. For public sliding you are able to book your group during any time slot on the weekend. Public sliding bookings are online only and there is a max. of 12 people per reservation. You can check availability and book online by clicking HERE. 
Are you open on weekdays? What about Holidays?

From Monday to Friday afternoon we are available for private group bookings only. General booking information can be found HERE. Please give us a call at +1 204-685-2999 if you would like to inquire about a weekday booking.

We offer extended public sliding hours over the Christmas break as well as Louis Riel Day. You can find all our available public booking times online by clicking HERE or refer to our Hours of Operation.

Can I just show up and slide or do I need to book ahead?

Admission to the tubing hill is through advanced booking only. You can easily view available time slots and book online HERE or contact us and we’d be happy to help.

How can I pay?

Our online booking system requires a credit card. If unable to pay with credit card, please contact the office between 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Our preferred method of payment on site is cash, cheque, or debit.

I want to book last minute. Is that an option?

Yes, if there’s availability in the time slot you’re interested in, you can book at any time.

Group Bookings

For private group rentals for 30+ people during the week, please contact the camp.

About Us

The Valley View Tubing Hill (formerly known as Rodgers Hill) is a popular Manitoba winter attraction for all ages. The Tubing Hill generally runs from late December to mid March (weather permitting), and is open to the public as well as groups. Each year thousands of people from all across Manitoba visit the Tubing Hill for plenty of fun and many long lasting memories. If you’re looking for an affordable way to have fun and get active this winter we encourage you to come slide with us! Facilities Include:

  • Fully groomed hill
  • *NEW* hill lift system
  • Outdoor warm-up area with fire pit
  • *NEW* Chalet building with bathrooms & tables

Cancellation

Our cancellation policy guarantees a full refund, to the original form of payment, in the event of an on-route road closure or anything colder than -28 degrees Celsius (ambient temperature before wind chill).  Refunds will not be issued for any other reason. Refunds must be requested, in writing, by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Cancellations for any other reason forfeit full payment.

No shows, for any reason, also forfeit full payment. 

Update/Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling/updating your existing booking can be done up to 72 hours prior to the start of your booking.

You may update/reschedule your booking at anytime, within the current season, subject to availability. You can update/reschedule by logging into your customer profile by clicking the ‘Manage’ link in your booking confirmation email.

Waiver

A waiver form is required for each booking. If making a booking online, you will be prompted to complete the waiver as a part of the booking process. For bookings made over the phone, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to complete your waiver form and submit it online before your booking.
